NewsEducation Event. Friday September 10. Two Rivers State Park. This opportunity involves providing a hands on learning activity for students-grades 4th to 8th grade with 16 to 24 per group or two groups of 8 to 12 students from area Omaha middle schools and outside as well like Gretna, Mead, DC West, etc. The sessions start at 9 AM with about 55 minutes per group with lunch being served at noon being provided by the Thrivent Financial services and local resources. Thrivent furnished the funding for the picnic shelter that we had the picnic under this past month. This is go event regardless of weather since this can not be postponed, etc. This Friday event involves five sessions being completed by 2:30 PM so buses can get to there school systems, etc. Please contact John Niemoth if possible by the first of September for program scheduling at 402-359-8884 or email jniemoth@esu2.org This is the ninth year of this event which will focus more on going green with Walmart furnishing the water for the participants in the past two years, instead of soda, etc. If any questions, feel free to contact the me.
